These terms and conditions apply to the professional organisation and decluttering services, provided by Naomi Fox (I, me), to the Client (you). The Client refers to any person or persons to whom I undertake services.
Best Advice
Any advice given is in good faith and it is always your decision as to whether to take such advice, including keeping or disposing of items. You acknowledge that I have no expertise to identify items of special value or rarity, nor am I qualified to advice on valuation matters for insurance purposes. I do not accept liability for the consequences of any decisions you make.Removal of Items
Items removed from any premises either for disposal or to other locations is always undertaken at your discretion. You accept responsibility for any items disposed of because of my work. For a small additional fee, I will take items to a local charity of my choosing. Items cannot be returned after they have been removed. It remains your responsibility to organise the removal of furniture, rubbish and items not suitable for resale.Handling Goods
Whilst I will always endeavour to handle your property with the utmost care, I will not accept liability for any loss or damage however caused, whilst providing the Services. I cannot move or lift very large items. If this is required, the Client may want to arrange additional help from other parties.Personal Safety
Prior to undertaking an assignment, you agree to disclose any information about the working environment that might put me at risk of harm or damage to health. For my personal safety, another person will always know our location and session timings.Other Suppliers and Services
On occasion, I may recommend, other services providers but do not accept any responsibility for their performance nor liability for any fees payable for their services or for any loss or damage that they may cause. For the avoidance of doubt, any contractual arrangements will be made directly between the Client and the supplier.Charges and Payment Terms
Initial consultation is free
Any agreed work is carried out at a cost of £30 per hour. Each session lasts for between two and four hours. Sessions can be extended by agreement, but please don’t underestimate how physically and emotionally tiring a session can be.
Travel expenses are charged at 45p a mile over 10 miles from PO33 unless otherwise agreed prior to work starting.
The cost of removing and taking of any items to the charity shop is £2.50 for a box or bag equivalent to a bag for life. The maximum charge per trip is £25.
Charges can be paid either at the end of each session or by invoice on a weekly or monthly basis dependent on the frequency of sessions. Invoice terms are payment by 30 days.
Changes to payment terms may be made throughout the work by mutual consent.
All payments should ideally be made by BACS using the bank details shown on the invoice. However, we can also accept cash or cheque made out to N Helps Ltd.
Appointment Changes and Cancellations
You have the right to cancel the services, without charge, up to 24 hours prior to the appointment. If the cancellation is within this period, I have the right to invoice 50% of the charge for the time agreed prior to the appointment.Termination of Contract
I reserve the right to withdraw the Services at any time without notice due to undisclosed or unforeseen circumstances.Confidentiality and Privacy
No personal or business details that may be seen whilst working together will be divulged to any third party save as required by law or by relevant regulatory authorities. I am registered with the Information Commissioners Office (ICO). This means the company take your privacy seriously and only use your personal information to provide a professional service.Insurance
I have Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance Cover to the value of £1 million.
